To download and run VOSviewer, take the following steps:Download VOSviewer from this web page.
Create a new folder and unpack the downloaded ZIP file in this folder.
On Microsoft Windows systems, run the VOSviewer Windows application. On macOS systems, run the VOSviewer macOS application. On other systems, run the VOSviewer JAR file.

Web of Science (sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Web of Knowledge) adalah layanan pengindeksan sitiran ilmiah berbasis langganan daring yang awalnya diproduksi oleh Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), yang saat ini dikelola oleh Clarivate Analytics (sebelumnya bisnis Properti Intelektual dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Thomson Reuters), yang menyediakan pencarian sitiran yang komprehensif. Layanan ini memberi akses pada beberapa basis data yang menjadi referensi penelitian lintas disiplin, yang memungkinkan dilakukannya eksplorasi mendalam terhadap sub-bidang khusus dalam disiplin akademis atau ilmiah.

Salatiga (Pendis) - Jurnal DinamikA of State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga has succeeded in becoming the first journal managed by PTKIN students and entered the Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ). DOAJ is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality, open access, and peer-reviewed journals. 

DOAJ was launched in 2003 at Lund University, Sweden. Jurnal DinamikA is managed by the journal team of the Student Press Institute (LPM) DinamikA with assistance from the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Salatiga. This achievement proves the strong commitment of UIN Salatiga to managing quality scientific journals with international standards.

DinamikA Journal of UIN Salatiga indexed in the International Directory of DOAJ

Klikdinamika.com, State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga seeks to encourage the quality of the academic community, one of which is through the development of journals. Not only national accreditations such as SINTA, but also being able to get into international level accreditations, one of which is DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journal), which was obtained by LPM DinamikA Journal, Thursday (12/08) 2022. A journal with the motto of Paradigm Student Discourse managed by the Student Press Institute (LPM) DinamikA with the assistance of the Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M) UIN Salatiga was able to penetrate DOAJ. Met in the Lecturer's room, Faizal Risdianto, S.S, M.Hum, as the DinamikA Journal team explained, currently, UIN Salatiga has 15 journals that have been standardized and indexed by SINTA. Faizal's hope in the future, after Jurnal DinamikA can be indexed in  DOAJ, is to be able to enter SINTA, be nationally accredited, be more developed, and be able to establish relationships with journals from other universities.

Inisiatif untuk Kutipan Terbuka I4OC adalah kolaborasi antara penerbit ilmiah, peneliti, dan pihak berkepentingan lainnya untuk mempromosikan ketersediaan data kutipan ilmiah yang tidak terbatas.

Tentang Inisiatif untuk Kutipan Terbuka

Kutipan adalah tautan yang menyatukan pengetahuan ilmiah dan budaya kita. Mereka adalah data primer yang memberikan sumber dan penjelasan tentang bagaimana kita mengetahui fakta. Mereka memungkinkan kita untuk menghubungkan dan menghargai kontribusi ilmiah, dan mereka memungkinkan evaluasi penelitian dan dampaknya. Singkatnya, kutipan adalah kendaraan paling penting untuk penemuan, penyebaran, dan evaluasi semua pengetahuan ilmiah.

Tata Kelola jurnal Menuju indeksasi ESCI Web of Science

Pengalaman mengelola jurnal terindeks di ESCI Web of Science cukup menarik bagi saya.

Di satu sisi, ada orang yang berpendapat ESCI WoS itu adalah sekadar indexing kelas menengah sejenis DOAJ, EBSCO, ACI  bahkan ada yang bilang ESCI WoS itu indexing setengah hati yang belum masuk core collections Web of Science. Core collection dalam konteks ini adalah produk web of Science yang masuk indexing kelas tinggi yaitu SSCI, SCIE dan AHCI.

Di sisi yang lain sejatinya ESCI sudah masuk core collection tapi belum punya Impact Factor dan setidaknya ada Point positif jika sebuah jurnal terindeks di ESCI Web of Science:

J-Lalite is a peer-reviewed journal, published by English Literature Study Program, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. It is an open-access journal that can be accessed freely to support greater knowledge exchange and sharing. This journal ensures double-blind peer review for every submitted manuscript. Issued twice a year (every June and December), J-Lalite provides a forum that deals with discussion on language, culture and literature studies. The articles published on J-Lalite should be written in English.

Pengalaman menarik menjadi Sinta Verifikator dan Pernah satu tahun berkerja di DOAJ

 SALATIGA-Dosen Tadris Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Salatiga, Faizal Risdianto S.S., M.Hum resmi menjadi Associate Editor Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ). DOAJ atau Direktori Jurnal Akses Terbuka adalah sebuah situs web yang mencantumkan daftar jurnal akses terbuka dan dikelola oleh Infrastructure Service for Open Access (IS4OA), perusahaan sosial yang memfasilitasi sumber-sumber akses terbuka dan berpusat di Inggris.

Selain menjadi Associate Editor DOAJ, Faizal Risdianto juga ditunjuk menjadi verifikator

di Science and Technology Index (SINTA) tingkat perguruan tinggi oleh Direktorat Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Indonesia. Menurut panduan yang diterbitkan oleh SINTA, verifikator adalah administrator yang bertugas untuk melakukan verifikasi data penulis.
