Klikdinamika.com, State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga seeks to encourage the quality of the academic community, one of which is through the development of journals. Not only national accreditations such as SINTA, but also being able to get into international level accreditations, one of which is DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journal), which was obtained by LPM DinamikA Journal, Thursday (12/08) 2022. A journal with the motto of Paradigm Student Discourse managed by the Student Press Institute (LPM) DinamikA with the assistance of the Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M) UIN Salatiga was able to penetrate DOAJ. Met in the Lecturer's room, Faizal Risdianto, S.S, M.Hum, as the DinamikA Journal team explained, currently, UIN Salatiga has 15 journals that have been standardized and indexed by SINTA. Faizal's hope in the future, after Jurnal DinamikA can be indexed in DOAJ, is to be able to enter SINTA, be nationally accredited, be more developed, and be able to establish relationships with journals from other universities.
During the activity, some stages are carried out for journal accreditation to DOAJ, such as preparation, proposal, and the final plan to submit journals to DOAJ. "In my assistance with Guntur Cahyono as the coach of LPM DinamikA and Bimo Triyoko from TIPD," explained Faizal. Faizal added that the accreditation of journals indexed by SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus has many benefits, especially for writers and institutions. From the author's point of view, these journals are usually used for promotions, such as Head Lecturer and Professor. In terms of institutions, journal accreditation is used as a barometer to determine the institution's quality.
Rizqi Muhammad Alif, the General Manager of LPM DinamikA, expressed his appreciation for the DinamikA journal because it was successfully accredited by DOAJ and managed by students. "In the future, DinamikA journal is expected to be able to become a role model for academics; what is proudful for all is that DinamikA journal is managed by students and can achieve international accreditation," he said. The editor of the DinamikA Journal, Nazbudin Zaki, hopes that the DinamikA journal will achieve even more achievements in the future. "The indexing of the DinamikA journal in DOAJ is a proud achievement. In the future, we will continue to improve the management of the journal so that it can develop better and achieve various achievements," he said with a happy tone. (Dadan/Ana/red)
