Be the First, of A journal-managed-by-University-Students, Jurnal DinamikA, of UIN Salatiga has been accepted in DOAJ

 

Salatiga (Pendis) - Jurnal DinamikA of State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga has succeeded in becoming the first journal managed by PTKIN students and entered the Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ). DOAJ is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality, open access, and peer-reviewed journals. 

DOAJ was launched in 2003 at Lund University, Sweden. Jurnal DinamikA is managed by the journal team of the Student Press Institute (LPM) DinamikA with assistance from the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) UIN Salatiga. This achievement proves the strong commitment of UIN Salatiga to managing quality scientific journals with international standards. 

The Chancellor of UIN Salatiga, Zakiyuddin Baidhawy, said that scientific journals are one of the academic towers that must continue to be developed. According to him, UIN Salatiga, as a university, has a core business in the educational field. Scientific Journal is one of the academic towers besides research and development. "UIN Salatiga is committed to developing all the objectives, so they can get world recognition," said Zakiyuddin in Salatiga Monday (15/08/2022). 

Zakiyuddin hopes that more scientific journals within UIN Salatiga will get national and international recognition. A similar hope was also conveyed by one of Jurnal DinamikA teams, Faizal Risdianto. He said that the achievement of Jurnal DinamikA could be the first step to further development. "I hope that DinamikA Journal can also enter SINTA and be accredited nationally and establish relationships with journals from other universities," he hoped. 

The Editor of Jurnal DinamikA, Ahmad Hidayat, said that his party always strives to maintain the quality of the articles submitted, "Over the past two years, we have tried hard in selecting the articles that are submitted to meet the requirements. 

There are many obstacles, but we always strive to publish articles." Hidayat hopes that more students will be involved in managing scientific journals, "Hopefully, in the future, there will be more students interested in managing scientific journals. Success is always for Jurnal DinamikA," he concluded.
