Infinity Journal (stkipsiliwangi.ac.id)
Infinity Journal is a peer-refereed open-access journal which has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of mathematics education. This journal is founded under the collaboration between the IKIP Siliwangi and Indonesian Mathematics Educators' Society (IMES). All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of two International Reviewers through the double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal.
The Infinity Journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts resulted from a research project in the scope of mathematics education, which includes, but is not limited to the following topics: Mathematics Ability, Realistic Mathematics Education, ICT in Mathematics Education, and Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education. The manuscript must be original research, written in English, and not be simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.
Pendampingan dan Proses Apply Indexing Scopus
LP2M, UIN SALATIGA- Kepala Pusat Penerbitan dan Rumah Jurnal LP2M UIN Salatiga memberikan pendampingan sampai pada proses apply ke indexing Scopus untuk Jurnal Religia (Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman) UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan Senin dan Selasa tanggal 13 dan 14 Februari 2023.
Faizal Risdianto, S.S,M.Hum sebagai Ketua Pusat Penerbitan dan Rumah Jurnal LP2M UIN Salatiga memberikan tips dan pendampingan pengelolaan jurnal menuju terindeks Scopus berdasarkan pengalaman pendampingan Jurnal Psikohumaniora UIN Walisongo Semarang dan Jurnal Ijtihad UIN Salatiga telah terindeks Scopus. Beberapa tipsnya adalah reformulasi focus and scope jurnal yang superspesialis dari fokus yang umum menjadi jurnal kajian Living Qur’an dan Hadits, Pemilihan Editor yang H Index Scopus ID tertinggi dan pemilihan sepuluh artikel terbaik yang memiliki sitasi tertinggi dan sesuai dengan focus and scope yang telah direformulasikan.
Acara ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan target yang lebih tinggi setelah menjadi jurnal nasional terindeks di Sinta 2. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh pengelola Jurnal Religia (Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman), pengelola jurnal-jurnal lainya di UIN Gusdur Pekalongan, dan dihadiri pula oleh Dekan Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab, dan Dakwah (FUAD) UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan Dr. H. Sam’ani Sya’roni, M.Ag.

Dalam makalah ini, kami mengkaji pengenalan sistem pemeringkatan nasional di Indonesia, sebuah negara yang dipandang (secara internal dan eksternal) sebagai negara yang tertinggal di belakang batas produksi pengetahuan global. Dengan membandingkan hasil publikasi dengan peneliti Thailand dan Filipina dalam kerangka kerja perbedaan-dalam-perbedaan, kami menguji pengaruh penerapan SINTA, sebuah sistem unik yang memeringkat setiap peneliti Indonesia menurut formula berbasis publikasi .
Pertama, kami menemukan bahwa penerapan SINTA bertepatan dengan peningkatan moderat dalam publikasi di jurnal yang terindeks Scopus berdampak tinggi dan peningkatan besar dalam publikasi Scopus berdampak rendah. Kedua, kami menemukan bukti bahwa peneliti merespons perubahan dalam penghargaan publikasi relatif dengan meningkatkan jumlah publikasi mereka dalam kategori yang mendapat skor lebih tinggi dan/atau lebih mudah untuk dipublikasikan. Secara khusus, kami menemukan bahwa sekitar 86% peningkatan publikasi dari tahun 2016 hingga 2019 disebabkan oleh prosiding konferensi atau jurnal berdampak rendah (Q3, Q4, dan tanpa peringkat). Hasil kami menunjukkan bahwa peneliti Indonesia sedang “mempermainkan sistem” tetapi efek keseluruhannya positif: hasil penelitian telah meningkat secara menyeluruh.

Acara ini tidak hanya dihadiri

KOMPAS.ID: Pengukuran Kinerja Dosen
Menurut situs Science and Technology Index (Sinta) Direktorat Pendidikan Tinggi, saat ini di Indonesia ada 257.017 dosen. Jumlah ini terdiri dari 7.154 dosen berjabatan guru besar (2,79 persen), 30.319 lektor kepala (11,83 persen), 78.107 lektor (30,49 persen), 71.971 asisten ahli (28.09 persen), dan 69.466 (26,72 persen) dosen tanpa jabatan fungsional.
Jika kategori terakhir tak dihitung, jumlah dosen yang akan menjadi sasaran evaluasi kinerja adalah 187.551 atau 72,9 persen. Situs yang sama menunjukkan saat ini di Indonesia ada 7.748 jurnal ilmiah dengan peringkat akreditasi 1 hingga 6 dari semua bidang ilmu. Jurnal-jurnal itu terbit dua hingga tiga kali setiap tahun, dan memuat lima hingga 20 judul artikel setiap terbitan.
Jika dianggap setiap jurnal terbit dua kali satu tahun dan setiap terbitan memuat sepuluh judul artikel saja, dalam satu tahun semua jurnal ilmiah di Indonesia menerbitkan 154.960 judul artikel.
Berdasarkan hitungan kasar ini, rerata publikasi nasional adalah 0,6 judul artikel per dosen per tahun. Artinya, setiap tahun hanya enam dari 10 dosen memiliki publikasi jurnal. Proporsi ini belum mencapai batas rasional minimum, yaitu satu dosen satu publikasi per tahun.
Proporsi yang sangat kecil itu masih diperparah oleh sebaran yang tak merata. Dalam satu tahun ada dosen yang menerbitkan hingga tujuh judul artikel, tetapi ada juga yang sama sekali tak menerbitkan artikel. Artinya, 154.960 judul artikel itu belum tentu ditulis oleh 154.960 dosen, bisa kurang dari itu.
Pangkalan data juga menunjukkan saat ini ada 100.000 judul artikel dari Indonesia pada jurnal internasional bereputasi, yang merupakan kinerja wajib bagi guru besar. Namun, 100.000 judul artikel tidak semuanya ditulis oleh guru besar.
Sebagian justru ditulis oleh dosen-dosen muda. Dosen-dosen yang menjadi guru besar sebelum diberlakukannya Pedoman Operasional Penilaian Angka Kredit (PO PAK) 2014 cenderung tidak memiliki publikasi jurnal internasional.
Berdasarkan fakta-fakta itu, mengukur kinerja dosen berdasarkan jumlah dan peringkat artikel jurnal adalah sangat tak realistis. Masih ada permasalahan yang lebih fundamental berupa rasio dan sebaran penulis. Karena itu, pemberlakuan dua peraturan di atas secara pukul rata sebaiknya dipikirkan ulang. Jika banyak dosen terkena sanksi sehingga tidak dapat menjalankan tugasnya, pemerintah sendiri yang rugi.

ANSWER: Dear Authors,
WoS stands for Web of Science, a high level index which is compatible with the position of Scopus.com.
In WoS or Web of Science Core Collection, there are two levels of Indexing: The high one: Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) & Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) and the Low one is Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
Being an ESCI WoS jounals means that REGISTER JOURNAL belongs to Non-Scopus indexed International Jounal.

Jakarta (Kemenag) --- The achievements of scientific journals of Islamic religious tertiary institutions in the international world are getting stronger. Not only in Islamic studies and social humanities, but also in science and technology. As of February 3, 2023, the Valensi Chemistry Journal, which the Chemistry Study Program published, Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, has been indexed by Scopus so that it is itself accredited by Sinta 1. "This achievement shows the credibility of Islamic religious tertiary institutions not only in the field of Islamic studies but also in the field of science and technology as part of the core business of scientific integration, which is also increasing.
