Journal of Pragmatics Research, (JoPR), E-ISSN: 2656-8020, is published by State Institute of Islamic Studies, (IAIN) Salatiga, Indonesia. it is an International forum published every April and October and aimed at developing all aspects of scholarly theories and research on pragmatics, Pragma-linguistics, socio-pragmatics within the Indonesian context of political, socio-cultural elements. There are abundant classic and contemporary Pragmatics theories but this Journal aimed at developing Indonesian scholarly ideas and approaches of Pragmatics. It also wants to develop other areas of language studies, such as cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, applied linguistics, stylistics, anthropology, and communication studies. 


NOTETHERE IS NO affiliation, association, or endorsement between Elsevier's Journal of Pragmatics and IAIN Salatiga's Journal of Pragmatics Research (JoPR).



REGISTER JOURNAL



REGISTER JOURNAL is a forum of discussion that focuses on language (linguistics and literature) and language teaching studies. It aims at enhancing critical studies on the various actual phenomena from different perspectives. The word "REGISTER" in the name of "REGISTER JOURNAL" is derived from the lexicon "REGISTER," which is well-known for a linguistic variety regarded as appropriate to use in a particular speech situation.(Kortmann 2005: 255f). It was issued for the first time in June 2008 and the name of REGISTER (p-ISSN: 1979-8903 on 24th January 2012) in a printed form. Since 19th November 2015, as a milestone that marks a change from a printed journal and an Electronic or digital Journal, it changed its name to be REGISTER JOURNAL for the E-ISSN Number:2503-040X (Online Media).


INFO UPDATE JUNE 2018: To improve the quality of REGISTER JOURNAL, the board of editors has decided to make some changes since June 2018.

1. Revising the article template.

2. Publishing ONLY six-8 articles per issue.

3. Adding more reputable reviewers and editors.
