Berikut adalah 7 Jurus Minimal Tata kelola jurnal menuju Akreditasi Nasional

1. Pengelolaan jurnal menuju akreditasi nasional membutuhkan kerja tim yang solid dan berkesinambungan. Setiap peran, mulai dari author, editor, reviewer, hingga tim OJS dan IT, harus terlibat aktif. Tim OJS dan IT memegang peran penting dalam menjaga keamanan dan kelancaran sistem, seperti menghindari gangguan spam, virus, atau peretasan pada web OJS. Dalam struktur tim, setidaknya diperlukan dua bagian utama yaitu tim editor yang mengelola konten dan tim OJS/IT yang mengelola sistem, dengan seorang managing editor sebagai penggerak utama.

2. Peran copyeditor dan proofreader sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas artikel yang diterbitkan. Selain memeriksa tata bahasa dan referensi, copyeditor juga perlu memastikan kesesuaian sitasi dengan daftar pustaka, meskipun sudah menggunakan reference management tools. Penggunaan jasa proofreader, khususnya yang native speaker, menjadi kebutuhan penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas bahasa, terutama bagi jurnal yang menargetkan indeksasi internasional seperti Scopus dan WoS.

3. Konsistensi fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal harus dijaga agar jurnal tetap berada pada jalur yang sesuai dengan visi penerbitannya. Jurnal yang terlalu beragam atau “campur aduk” cenderung sulit mencapai akreditasi tinggi seperti Sinta 1 atau 2. Evaluator akan menilai apakah artikel yang diterbitkan benar-benar sesuai dengan fokus dan cakupan jurnal yang sudah ditetapkan, sehingga penting bagi pengelola untuk selektif dalam menerima naskah.
