JoLES: Journal of Language, Education, and Social Science is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing original research and scholarly works at the nexus of language, education, and social science. The journal’s core mission is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and champion innovative perspectives that deepen the understanding of human communication, learning processes, and social development across a wide array of cultural and academic settings. By bringing these three fields together, JoLES aims to provide a unique platform for scholars to contribute to a more holistic view of human interaction and societal advancement. The Focus and Scope of JoLES are broad, welcoming empirical, theoretical, and conceptual papers from researchers, educators, and scholars across related disciplines. Its scope is categorized into three main areas. The Language section covers topics such as applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, TESOL/EFL/ESL, language teaching and learning, and issues of language, culture, and identity. The Education section encompasses curriculum development, educational technology, teacher education, assessment, and inclusive and multicultural education. Finally, the Social Science scope includes sociology, anthropology, cultural and media studies, social psychology, community empowerment, and critical issues of equity and social justice. This expansive scope ensures the journal captures a wide range of relevant scholarship. For those interested in submitting or following the latest research, JoLES maintains a regular publication frequency. The journal is published four times a year, ensuring a consistent flow of new articles. The issues are released in February, May, August, and November, providing predictable quarterly updates on cutting-edge research and scholarship within these crucial and interconnected fields.

The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), DOAJ, the Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association (OASPA), dan the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) adalah organisasi-organisasi ilmiah yang berkolaborasi untuk mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip transparansi dan praktik terbaik untuk publikasi ilmiah. Dokumen ini adalah versi keempat dari upaya yang berkelanjutan (diterbitkan 15 September 2022). Kami mendorong penyebarannya yang luas.

KONTEN JURNAL
Nama Jurnal Nama jurnal harus unik dan tidak mudah dikacaukan dengan jurnal lain. Nama jurnal juga tidak boleh menyesatkan calon penulis dan pembaca tentang asal, ruang lingkup, atau hubungannya dengan jurnal dan organisasi lain.
Situs Web Situs web harus didukung dan dikelola dengan baik, dengan perhatian khusus pada aspek keamanan (minimal harus menggunakan https). Situs web tidak boleh mengandung informasi yang menyesatkan, tidak boleh meniru situs jurnal/penerbit lain, dan harus menampilkan secara jelas: tujuan dan ruang lingkup, target pembaca, jenis naskah yang dipertimbangkan, kriteria kepengarangan, dan ISSN.
Jadwal Penerbitan Frekuensi penerbitan jurnal harus dijelaskan dengan jelas, dan jurnal harus mematuhi jadwal penerbitannya kecuali dalam keadaan luar biasa.

Perizinan (Licencing) Informasi perizinan harus dijelaskan dengan jelas di situs web dan ditunjukkan pada teks lengkap semua artikel yang diterbitkan. Konten Akses Terbuka harus menggunakan lisensi terbuka (misalnya, lisensi Creative Commons yang tertaut dengan benar).
