Yth. Bapak dan Ibu Pengelola Jurnal.

Berikut ini adalah pengamatan dan pengalaman saya tentang 7 hal yang sebaiknya diwujudkan untuk mewujudkan tata kelola jurnal menuju akreditasi Nasional:

1. Team work yang solid dan berkesinambungan.

Kerja pengeloaan jurnal bukanlah pekerjaan yang ringan. Kerja ini memerlukan sinergi yang solid dan berkesinambungan antara author, editor, reviewer, team OJS dan IT. Jika editor berhenti menyunting, reviewer tidak memberi masukan dan kritik terhadap manuscript yang dikimkan dan author tidak mau merevisi naskah setelah mendapat masukan editor dan reviwer sudah tentu kualitas artikel yang sedang diproses tidak akan high quality tapi asal-asalan hasilnya.

ENGLISH VERSION

Some further feedback is below:

- The geographical reach of authorship and/or content is still limited.
- The journal shows an uneven scholarly quality in the articles, indicating that peer review and editorial management must be strengthened.
- A significant proportion of the articles are of academic quality and do not meet international standards.
- The composition of the Editorial Board needs to be further diversified and grow for a global reach.
- Many good international journals already cover this subject area. Consider strengthening your identity and identify areas that can attract international scholars.

8 Strategi minimalis mengantarkan jurnal agar bisa terindeks scopus

1. Perhatikan H-index penulis, semakin tinggi H-Index scopus id nya semakin baik. Ada juga gagasan menarik misalnya di jurnal Automotive Experiences untuk menarik partisipasi penulis yang hebat dan keren dalam authorship jika author H-Index scopus id nya 15 ke atas boleh lah dikasih fasilitas gratis APC.

2. Perhatikan H-index Editor harus lebih tinggi daripada reviewernya. ada pandangan umum bahwa di Indonesia itu reviewer itu lebih tinggi kedudukannya dari editor sedangkan di luar negeri berbeda. misalnya di Journal of Pragmatics yang Q1 : https://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-pragmatics. isinya adalah editor dan jika ada reviewer dibahasakan review editor.

contoh yang baik dalam poin ini ialah Editor in Chief yang H-Index lumayan tinggi ialah EIC SiELE yang terindeks scopus Q1, EIC nya Ibu Prof. Dr. Yunisrina Qismullah Yusuf, M.Ling., memiliki H index 8 di Scopus id nya. kesimpulannya editor jurnal yang baik juga harus memperbaiki diri menjadi penulis yang baik. jangan hanya rejact-reject tapi nggak pernah nulis. hmmmm gue banget :) :D
